These lift mechanisms make use of space that is ordinarily wasted at the top of closets and wardrobes, converting it into an extra tier of clothing storage. A light downward pull on the handle allows the rod to swing gently into an accessible position; a light upward pull returns the spring-loaded arms to the overhead position.
An oil-free hydraulic cylinder regulates the movement, ensuring smooth, controlled operation in both directions. Largely made of enamelled steel and strong industrial plastic, the mechanism mounts between two vertical members spaced from 29 1/2" to 45 1/2" apart, and is compatible with 32mm cabinet systems. The telescoping rod is chrome plated.
The 22 lb/10kg capacity model is 25" tall and includes an extendable clothes hook. The 44 lb/20kg capacity model is tension-adjustable to ensure consistent operation under varying loads, and is about 31" tall.
