Description
This kits provides everything needed to create a sheath-style holder for pens up to about 6 1/4" long. About 1 7/8" wide by 6 3/4" long when closed, the completed project helps prevent ink from leaking or smudging the inside of a pocket or briefcase, and makes a nice complement when giving a pen as a gift. The kit includes pre-cut leather pieces with punched stitch holes, as well as two needles, waxed thread and detailed instructions.
Supplied by renowned Italian tanneries, the vegetable-tanned and dyed leather is durable yet supple. Easy to work with, it wears well and ages to a rich, deep patina through long use. Aside from a small amount of glue to finish the thread end, nothing else is required.
