Clear Ant Moat

Some people jerry-rig systems similar to this one using wire, epoxy and old margarine containers. This moat is an easier solution for keeping ants away from your syrup or fruit feeder.

Simply fill the moat with water and hang your feeder directly below, preventing ants (who can’t swim) from getting to the feeder. Clear polycarbonate, it measures 3 1/2" in diameter and holds 10 oz (295ml) of water.
