Basswood Boards

A light-colored, medium-density wood favored for carving, basswood is easy to work, with straight grain and a fine, even texture that takes detail well.
These 1/4" and 1/2" boards can be used in relief or chip carving. They are select-grade basswood, kiln dried, then milled to nominal dimensions and planed smooth on all faces.
