Veritas P1066 Plumb Bob

The fourth in an annual series, this elegantly designed plumb bob has a long stainless-steel point and a body of torrefied maple – the same wood used for the handles of our line of Veritas chisels.

Finely made, it is about 3 5/8" long and just under an inch in diameter at its widest section. The 8' long braided nylon cord (no endless twirling, like twist cord!) is threaded through the removable stainless-steel crown to ensure perfect balance.

When not in use, the bob is held securely by an O-ring in the stainless-steel case, which acts as both a tip protector and a cord spool.
