Small enough to live in a drawer, this kit will handle just about every household task you can throw at it. The 28-piece reversible ratchet set has enough 1/4" drive sockets and screwdriver bits to tackle most jobs. The ratchet head, 2" extension, 1/4" hex adapter and nine sockets are durable and rust resistant. Includes 16 slot, Phillips, square-drive, POZIDRIV, hex and Torx bits.
Comes with 3/16", 1/4", 9/32", 5/16", 11/32", 3/8", 7/16", 15/32" and 1/2" sockets, all held in a compact 5 1/2" × 3" × 1 3/8" storage box. The kit also includes five 1/4" straight socket extensions and five 1/4" special extensions and handles. All are well finished forgings with robust chrome plating. The 2", 4", 6", 8" and 10" straight extensions provide greater clearance from the item being worked on. They also promote a two-handed grip while driving, allowing greater speed and control.
The special extensions and handles solve unique but common problems. The wobble extension lets you drive sockets at up to 15° off-axis. The magnet extension has an integral post with an embedded rare-earth magnet to hold nuts and bolts where your hands won’t reach. The locking head extension uses a ball detent to lock sockets onto the extension, so you don’t leave a socket behind in a tight space. The L-handle lets you use sockets as you would a hex key, and the sliding T-handle lets you adjust the effective handle length so you can work around obstructions without repositioning.
