Suitable for countertop use, this is an attractive and durable porcelain compost pail. It has an activated charcoal filter in the lid to absorb food odors and, unlike plastic, the glazed surface resists staining, won’t retain odors and cleans easily.
Measuring 9 1/2" tall (including the lid) by 6 1/4" in diameter, it holds 2.75 litres (2.5 qt) of kitchen scraps. Handle is stainless steel. Replacement filters (that should be changed every three to six months) are available separately.
