With a 1 5/8" hardened tool-steel blade and precisely machined, well-fitted parts made of cast aluminum alloy, it cuts cleanly with little effort. It measures 7 3/4" and comes with a spare blade.
To keep the pruner working at its best, the 280x diamond polycrystalline sharpener is a one-step tool that leaves a nicely sharpened edge with just a few quick swipes along the existing blade bevel.
The 7 3/4" sharpener collapses to 5 3/8" to fit in a pocket. The flat face works well on both bypass and anvil pruners, as well as on loppers and scissors, while the half-round surface can be used for sharpening serrated edges. It also has a narrow groove for touching up the points on anything from awls to fishhooks.
