Description

Anyone who has been caught unprepared by a flat tire will appreciate this preventative measure. When a puncture or leak happens, the sealant flows into the breach and the combination of liquid and fibers stops the leak within one revolution of the wheel. The rest of the mixture remains in the tire, so a single treatment can seal multiple punctures. Not only does this save you from having to find the leak and apply a patch, the minimal air loss means less interruption to work or travel. The sealant also stops gradual bead leaks and porosity leaks.

Unlike common latex- or ethylene glycol-based sealants, the fiber-based formula won’t dry out rubber or cause damage by prematurely curing in tires and is non-toxic, non-flammable and biodegradable. It can be used in temperatures as low as -34°C (-30°F) – if frozen, it regains full effectiveness after thawing. Rust inhibitors make it safe to use with steel and alloy wheel rims. Any spillage can be easily cleaned up with water.

Suitable for tube and tubeless tires, it can be used for a variety of outdoor equipment, including bicycles, utility trailers, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors and mowers. Added to a tire before inflation (a valve-core remover and injection hose are included), each 16 oz container supplies enough sealant to prepare one trailer or wheelbarrow tire or up to four bicycle tires, with variations depending on tire volume.
