Wet/dry paper is an excellent choice for hand or machine sanding in finishing applications. It can be used for smoothing finishing layers between coats through to rubbing out the final surface.
Mirka wet/dry papers are silicon carbide abrasive bonded to a latex-impregnated paper backing and treated with a highly durable coating. They are flexible and resistant to tearing and shedding. In addition to use on finished wood, they are suitable for metals, plastics and composite materials, and can be used with water as well as oil and other lubricants. Wet/dry papers are frequently used for sharpening applications.
