Description

If you are going to put time and effort into making a coffee mill, you want a mechanism worthy of the task. This is an excellent one. Its conical ceramic burrs provide a consistent grind and a wheel at its base lets you adjust the coarseness for the brewing method of choice. It also allows removal of the rotary burr for cleaning.

Equally suited to a turned or box-style coffee mill design, it press-fits into the housing you make and can be further secured with a small amount of glue (epoxy works best). The included zinc alloy and polypropylene handle, about 5 1/4" long, drives the stainless-steel hex shaft. A drawing that outlines the key dimensions is included.

We suggest using a 1 15/16" saw tooth bit (available separately) for drilling a recess that the mill mechanism will fit snugly.
