Canadian Retail Stores
Store pick-up orders are verified and processed during the store’s business hours. Once your order is ready, you will receive a store pick-up notification email. During business hours, you should receive this email within 2 hours of placing your order.
Please note: Some orders cannot be processed as prepaid and will require the cardholder to pay for the order at the time of pick up.
Store availability information is current, but may change as you shop. If you are travelling to one of our stores, please contact the store to confirm item availability. Items that are out of stock at our retail stores can be back ordered for pick-up only. "Expected In-Store Dates" are provided at the time of order placement. - Taxes
We collect and remit sales tax based upon your delivery address and in accordance with your state's remote seller laws. The amount of sales tax applicable to your order will be calculated at checkout.

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, just return it to us within 3 months* either by courier, mail or at any of our stores. You can choose to exchange the item or receive a complete refund, including any standard ground shipping charges. We will also refund your return parcel post costs at the ground shipping rate.

Returning an Item by Courier or Mail
If you would like to return the item(s) by courier or mail, please fill out the reverse side of your packing slip (or use the downloadable Return and Exchange form below) and include it with your return. Print a pre-paid mailing label using the links below, or contact Customer Service to have a label mailed to you. You can choose to return your package to us by UPS or by the postal service, whichever is more convenient for you.
If there are any issues accessing or printing the UPS or USPS pre-paid return label, you may choose to pay for the return ground postage and we will reimburse you once your return is processed.

The Lee Valley education discount is offered to students enrolled in an accredited woodworking, horticultural, or culinary program, along with course instructors and educational institutions. - California Proposition 65
Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was initiated in California. Under this act, a list of chemicals that are known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm is published annually. This list contains more than 900 chemicals that can be found in consumer and industrial products or services, in addition to chemicals that are released into the environment.

- Clearing Your Browser's Cache or Cookies
When you use a web browser, it stores small pieces of information – such as images and site data – in its cache and cookies to help websites load faster and work more smoothly. Clearing this data can resolve issues like pages not loading properly or displaying incorrectly.
Step 1: Clear the cookies cached on your browser
On a Chrome browser:

On a Safari browser:

Step 2 – After you have successfully cleared the cookies from your browser, restart your device.
Alternatively, you can try switching to another browser, if available on your device, or setting your browser to Private/Incognito mode.

- Ad Blocker Extensions
Ad blockers can impact website loading, display, and performance, as well as block scripts that are essential for site functionality. Temporarily disabling ad blockers may improve your website and checkout experience.
General Steps:
- Locate Extensions / Settings:
Open your browser and navigate to the settings or extensions section. This is usually accessible through a menu (often three dots or lines) in the top right corner
- Find the Ad Blocker:
Look for a section listing installed extensions or add-ons.
- Disable or Remove:
Disable: Find your ad blocker extension and toggle it off. This will temporarily disable the extension.
Remove: If you want to completely remove the extension, look for "remove" or "uninstall" option.
- Refresh:
You may need to refresh the webpage or browser for the changes to take effect.

Go to "More tools" then "Extensions".
Find your ad blocker extension and toggle it off or click "Remove" to uninstall it.

Select "Add-ons and themes" then "Extensions".
Locate your ad blocker and either disable it or click "Remove".

Select "Extensions".
Find your ad blocker and either disable it or click "Remove".

Click "Safari" in the top menu bar, then "Settings" (or "Preferences").
Go to the "Extensions" tab.
Find your ad blocker and either disable it or click "Uninstall".
Note: Some websites might require you to reload the page after disabling the ad blocker for the changes to be visible.

If you're experiencing website or checkout issues while using a VPN, try turning it off temporarily. Disabling your VPN can help ensure your connection is recognized as secure and trusted, which may resolve issues with website performance or processing your payment.
- Disconnect from the VPN and use your normal internet service to connect directly to Lee Valley's secure, encrypted site.
- If you want to continue to use your VPN, you may try to disconnect and reconnect to a different location in your VPN service. That is usually enough to change your IP address and improve website performance.
