These top-quality U.S.-made multi-tool blades stand up to plenty of hard use. We offer three styles for a range of materials and applications, each with a mounting- shank design that fits many major models of oscillating multi-tools*. The high-carbon steel and bimetal blades have a 5/16" offset for flush cutting; sizes listed are nominal width by approximate depth of cut. The grout blade is about 3/32" thick by 2-1/2" wide and has a 1-3/4" plunge depth. All blades are rated to 20,000 oscillations per minute.
The high-carbon steel blades are suitable for wood and wood composites (e.g., plywood, particle board and MDF) as well as drywall and PVC. The 1-5/8" deep blades have an 18 tpi pattern and the 16 tpi extra-long blade has a cut depth of 2-9/16" for additional reach where access is difficult; both styles cut quickly but are fine enough to reduce chipout on exposed surfaces.
The bimetal blades are constructed from high-carbon steel with a toothline of high-speed steel for excellent wear resistance. A coating of extremely hard low-friction titanium nitride reduces heat build-up, further improving durability. The 18 tpi pattern and wavy tooth set provide a good balance between surface finish and cutting speed. The blades are suitable for a wide range of materials, from wood and wood composites (e.g., plywood, particleboard and MDF) to drywall, fiberglass and plastics, as well as softer metals such as aluminum, copper and unhardened steel.
All of the above blades are sold individually or in packages of three of a single size. The bimetal blades are also available in a set of three containing one of each size.
The distinctive shape of the grout blade allows it to be used between tiles, for making plunge cuts, or in a rocking motion when edging up to an adjacent surface. Suitable for grout, masonry, plaster, backerboard, marble and porous concrete.
* Blades are compatible with Black & Decker®, Bosch Multi-X™, Chicago Electric®, Craftsman®, DeWalt®, Dremel® Multi-Max™, Fein MultiMaster, Makita®, Milwaukee®, Porter-Cable® and Rockwell® oscillating multitools.
