Stories of the Onkwehón:we: Amber Waboose

In episode three of season two, quillwork artist Amber Waboose reflects on the history of quilling, noting that the art form was nearly lost at one point in time. While she uses traditional porcupine quills, birch bark and sweetgrass for her designs, she also explores new materials and modern designs inspired by pop culture, hoping to inspire the younger generation to practice and revitalize this art form.
