Stories of the Onkweh贸n:we: Stephen Jerome

A lot of dedication, patience and practice go into the creation of Stephen Jerome鈥檚 black ash baskets. The craft he learned from his father is now being passed down to a younger generation. He hand-picks each tree from the forest, then works straight from the log, bending wood by hand without steaming, and weaving the pieces together to make strong, beautiful baskets.
