Description
Limited-time offer. Until December 11, 2023, we’re offering a set of five medium-handled garden tools with a free wall-mount rack (a value of $34.50), ideal for keeping the tools organized, out of the way and at the ready in a garden shed.
A convenient length for working in raised beds or from a seated or kneeling position, these tools are well balanced and lightweight for their size. About 23" long, they have a longer reach than typical hand tools yet are easy to maneuver. Besides the beech handles, all components are stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The well-formed blades and tines are secured to the tangs with strong, smooth welds. The lacquered handles are shaped for comfort, with stainless-steel ferrules that cap the end grain to prevent swelling or splitting. Made to our specifications, they will easily last a lifetime.
The trenching hoe has a 4" wide, 5 1/2" long spear-point blade, useful for weeding, furrowing or breaking up soil. Its bevelled edges slice under soil to sever roots and remove shallow-rooted weeds. The three-prong cultivator’s rounded tines move through soil easily, aerating it while uprooting weeds. The 4" wide bed rake has closely spaced tines, effective for gathering waste and debris. The crack weeder has a sharp slicing blade and thin hook for weeding between walkway or patio stones. The bulb planter’s 1 3/4" wide, 5 3/4" long blade has a bevelled spear-point tip to penetrate soil easily.
Made from 15mm thick unfinished Baltic birch plywood, the 21 1/4" wide rack has seven 1 1/8" diameter sockets that are sized to fit the tool handles and spaced to prevent them from accidentally contacting each other. It mounts with two included screws; mounting holes are spaced on 16" centers. Rack is made in Canada. Minor assembly required.
The rack is also sold separately, as are the tools, available in sets of five, sets of three or individually.
