At 3 1/2" long, the curved tine is also useful for digging dirt and weeds out of rock walls and other narrow gaps.
Shaped for comfort, the beech handle is lacquered and has a stainless-steel ferrule that caps the end grain to prevent swelling or splitting. It is attached securely to the tang of the strong, forged prong.
