Every spring, gardeners face a dilemma: plant too early and risk frost damage, or plant too late and risk shortening the growing season. This winter crop cover helps reduce that risk by regulating temperature around plants, trapping a layer of insulating air while still allowing light, air and water to pass through. In many regions, it can extend the growing season at both ends.
Made from spun-bonded polypropylene, the 50g/m² (approx. 1.5 oz/sq.yd.) weight provides greater insulation than lighter covers, helping protect plants during cold nights. It can be draped directly over plants or supported with hoops and secured at the edges for added protection. It’s UV stable and can be reused for multiple seasons.
Roll measures 1.6m × 10m (5' × 32').
