Double-Walled Cold Frame

This is an excellent cold frame. To maximize sun exposure, its top and side panels are made of 8mm thick corrugated polycarbonate with a double-walled construction; they provide insulation to resist frost and condensation, and are strong so they won't collapse under a snowfall.

To prevent overheating on sunny days, you can adjust ventilation by sliding open (or removing) the top panels, exposing the integral fiberglass screen that protects plants from pests. When the top is closed, a light downward push on the handle locks it so it won’t blow open in a strong wind.

The aluminum frame is about 40" wide by 31" deep by 18" high at the front and 21" at the back. Requires some assembly; instructions and all hardware included.
