If you have ever had the misfortune of using a poorly made pruner, you will really appreciate the feel and performance of the Felco line. Felco pruners are designed to cut cleanly and evenly, leaving no crushed wood that might invite pests and disease.
The #6 pruner has an offset head to keep your arm and wrist positioned naturally while cutting. Its compact size (7 3/4" long, 1 5/8" blade) makes it ideal for a small hand.
The blade is made of top-quality steel that has been hardened with great precision, then hollow ground. The handles are forged in manganese aluminum alloy and insulated with red plastic. The adjustable blades feature a wire-cutting notch, and a sap groove on the lower blade stops the blades from sticking together. All Felco parts are replaceable.
This pruner should provide many years of faithful service.
It comes with a 100mm (about 4") long diamond sharpening stone that is easy to grip and use. It will quickly restore a keen edge on any bypass or anvil pruners, as well as shears and loppers.
