Lightweight, malleable and easy to cut, aluminum wire is the material of choice for training limbs of bonsai trees. It is strong, has very low stretch, and holds its form once shaped, allowing a tight, secure wrap.
Corrosion resistant, it has a dark-bronze anodized finish that looks inconspicuous among tree limbs. It is available in four gauges to suit the thicknesses of the branches being tied. (Length in metres listed in brackets.)
