This planter is a residential-scale adaptation of a design used in municipalities across Canada, where larger models are selected for durability and their ability to keep plantings watered between maintenance visits. Made in Canada, this 20 litre version brings that commercial-grade construction to home gardeners.
The large planting capacity accommodates a wide range of flowers, herbs and vegetables. An integrated 8 litre reservoir supplies water from below, allowing the soil to wick moisture as needed. This helps maintain consistent moisture levels during hot, dry spells or when regular water isn’t possible. An expandable watering tube extends about 8" above the soil line and folds neatly over the rim to help keep foliage out of the reservoir.
The planter is rotationally molded from UV-resistant polyethylene with a double-wall construction that adds rigidity and insulation.
It measures about 12" tall and 18" in diameter and has a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
