Roots are automatically air-pruned to create a denser root mass, and grooved sidewalls direct them straight down to minimize spiralling. Seedlings slide out smoothly, avoiding damage to the root system and associated transplant shock.
This is the same four-cell root-training strip found in the deep-root training set we offer. Each strip is self-standing for independent use, and 12 fit neatly into a standard 10" × 20" tray. The cells measure 4 3/4" deep by 1 1/2" square, while the strip is 8 1/4" long by 2" wide and 4 3/4" tall.
