These hoops are for use with our Lee Valley Peony Supports. Available in 12", 18" and 25" diameters, the hoops are interchangeable to accommodate growth.
They are 1/4" dia. steel with a stainless-steel rivet hinge, and have a dark green powder-coat polyester finish that makes them almost invisible in the foliage.
Choose the 18" hoop for most mature peonies, size up to 25" for larger spreads, or use the smaller 12" hoop for young plants; because the hoops are interchangeable, you can switch sizes as a plant grows.
Not necessarily. These hoops are designed to fit Lee Valley Peony Supports, and a stake from another brand may not mate with them the same way.
The dark green powder-coat polyester finish is meant to blend into foliage, so the peony support hoops stay visually unobtrusive once plants fill in around them.
Yes, these hoops are available separately from the stake, so you can replace a bent or worn hoop without buying a whole new peony support.
