Sunrise Water Timer

Early morning is the best time for watering plants to limit moisture loss due to evaporation. Here is an easy way to avoid having to wake up with the sun to manage watering tasks. This basic timer has a built-in UV sensor that detects sunlight and automatically turns on your irrigation system every day within a half-hour of sunrise, and shuts off the water after a chosen length of time.

Simple to operate, it requires no programming – just set the dial to the desired duration (5 minutes to 2 hours). Manual on/off settings let you halt irrigation during wet weather or use the hose without engaging the timer.

The unit works with water pressure from 20 to 80 psi and has an indicator light that flashes when the two AA batteries (you supply) need to be replaced.
