This hollow terra cotta watering stake offers a convenient way to keep plants evenly watered, indoors or out. Simply attach a plastic water or pop bottle to the removable quick-seal fitting, and water seeps slowly through the semi-porous ceramic, delivering moisture below the soil surface, where it’s most useful to the roots.
The clear bottle lets you check the water level at a glance. You can even cut out the bottom from the bottle for an open-top system that allows quick filling with a watering can. The seal on the stake detaches easily for cleaning, especially helpful in outdoor settings where debris can collect. Measures 7 1/4".
Well suited to smaller containers or hanging baskets, it’s also excellent for keeping transplants healthy until their roots are established.
