To suppress weeds, help retain soil moisture and warm the soil sooner in spring, this 100% biodegradable mulch film offers a more flexible alternative to paper mulches. Made from polylactic acid (PLA) derived from corn, it’s less prone to tearing and easier to position, conforming readily to prepared beds.
Intended for crops harvested within 2 to 4 months, it can be trimmed to fit beds or planting rows and secured at the edges. After harvest, it can simply be tilled into the soil to break down gradually.
Weighs approximately 250g/m² (7.4 oz/sq.yd.). Measures 1m × 20m (3' × 65').
