This is an excellent finch and small bird feeder that is also squirrel proof. The wire shroud around the feeder gives birds access to the seed ports but when a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight forces the shroud down and the seed ports become inaccessible. Squirrels are foiled but not harmed in any way.
The feeder is 20" tall with a 1.4 quart capacity. It has four perches and eight ports sized for smaller seeds such as niger and thistle. Corrosion resistant, UV-stable and easy to clean. Instructions included.
Note: The feeder is effective against black squirrels. Immature red squirrels can sometimes gain access due to their size.
