These thin-gauge hardened steel screws have Torx heads (and are supplied with a matching Torx bit) to reduce the potential for cam-out and slippage in the drive. They have a rust-resistant Climatek coating that won't react with treated lumber.

The narrow heads seat unobtrusively and minimize the risk of wood splitting – key attributes of any fastener used for trim installation or carpentry. Self-tapping tips eliminate the need for pre-drilling; sawtooth-like ridges on threads near the tip reduce friction and driving effort.
