In our search for new products, we often look at how items were made in the past – especially in the hardware line. At a local auction sale, we came across a robust two-prong hook that was used for holding horse harnesses. This cast-iron hook is a direct reproduction. The larger prong projects about 6", the smaller about 2-1/2". The backing plate is 2-1/2" wide by 4" high. It weighs just over 1 lb.

Although it is more suited to mounting in a porch, shop or shed, it could fit in some hallways, depending on the style. Blackened screws included.
