Q: How is this track installed if I can't screw it down?
This Veritas double T-slot track locks in once you undercut a 3/8" × 3/4" dado with an undercut slotting bit and press the wings into the recess, no screws or glue needed.

Our double T-slot tracks are the perfect jig-making alternative when you cannot install a regular extrusion using glue or screws. Available in 2', 3', or 4' lengths.
This anodized aluminum extrusion has the same inner profile as our 1/4" T-slot extrusion, but the outer profile incorporates a pair of wings designed to lock the extrusion in place. Installation simply requires undercutting a 3/8" × 3/4" dado using an undercut slotting bit (available separately). The resulting T-slot securely holds the extrusion in place, without the need for screws or glue.
Both the T-nuts and the T-bolts are offered separately. Optional hex bolt shoulder washers allow them to be used with commonly available hex bolts.

Standard 1/4-20 T-nuts and T-bolts fit directly, and an optional shoulder washer lets you use ordinary hex bolts instead of dedicated T-bolts.
Pick the 2' length for small jigs, 3' for a typical crosscut sled or fence, or the 4' length when a fixture needs to span a wider table or benchtop.
Yes, the dado has to be undercut so the track's wings can lock in from below; a standard straight bit won't create the necessary undercut shape.
It's an anodized aluminum extrusion, which stays rigid along its length and resists wear where hardware slides in the slot.
