Rated for outdoor use, this versatile LED tape lighting kit makes it easy to add color-adjustable lighting to decks, patios or other outdoor structures, as well as indoor areas subject to moisture, such as bathrooms and saunas.
Ready to use right out of the box with no wiring work needed, the kit includes a continuous 24' (7.5m) length of low-profile tape lighting with an IP64 waterproof rating. It has a peel-and-stick backing that adheres well to most smooth, dry surfaces and stands up to long-term exposure to the elements.
The tape lighting consists of multicolor and white (RGB W) LEDs that can be controlled independently, which not only gives you a spectrum of 25 colors to choose from but also lets you adjust the intensity, from subtle tints to rich, saturated colors as well as pure white.
The included remote control operates by radio frequency, so you don’t need a direct line of sight to adjust the color and brightness or apply various lighting effects such as strobe, fade and many more.
The kit comes with all parts needed, including a 24V DC power supply unit and 7' (2.1m) power cord that plugs into a regular electrical outlet. For customized installations, the tape lighting can be cut to length. Note that for larger installations, two kits can be operated with a single remote control, but each kit must be run from its own power supply unit plugged into a separate electrical outlet.
Rated for 35,000 continuous hours of maintenance-free use, this kit is an energy-efficient, inexpensive option for adding accent lighting in a wide range of applications, both indoors and out.
