Rated for wet or dry conditions, this dimmable 1-watt LED light can be used anywhere you can drill a through-hole. Available in warm white (about 2900K) or natural white (about 4100K) color temperatures. Warm white lighting provides elegant, indirect lighting that complements wood tones, enriches colors and promotes relaxation. Natural white lighting is ideal for task or accent lighting and imparts a bright and clean modern look.
Each light comes with two interchangeable white diffuser filters that soften the light output and reduce reflective hotspots on a nearby surface. Additionally, six colored filters are included to let you change the color the light emits. You can layer the white and colored filters to further customize the light output. At maximum brightness (no filter), the warm white and natural white lights produce a 45° beam angle and yield about 80 lumens each.
The light is easy to connect and install using standard wire and connectors. Each light comes pre-wired with an 8" power lead for direct hardwire connections; lights can be installed individually or linked in sequence using standard electrical wire and connectors (available separately). While not required, you may want to add a dimmer or an on/off switch.
The light fits into a 1 3/8" hole when used in rigid materials (wood or plastic) and into a 1 1/4" hole when used in drywall, secured by integral spring clips. An optional ring nut is available for thin-wall applications, such as wall panel board, fiberglass and sheet metal.
Each light requires an interchangeable trim ring that simply threads onto the light housing (available separately). The lighting requires a 12VDC power supply with enough wattage to suit the intended application.
The long-life LEDs provide years of maintenance-free lighting. All components are CSA, cETLus or cUL listed. Installation instructions included.
