Few of us check our tire pressure quite as often as we know we should. For most vehicles, this compact 0 to 100 psi gauge is all you need. Designed for use on standard car, truck and bike tires, as well as the low-pressure tires found on ATVs and riding mowers, it gives quick readings (in psi, bar, kg/cm2 or kPa), accurate to ±1%.
It has an easy-to-read backlit LCD screen, and an LED near the tip that helps when fitting the gauge onto a valve stem in poor light. Runs on three included button-cell batteries.
This digital tire pressure gauge measures the air pressure released from the tire's valve stem when pressed against it, then displays an accurate reading of the tire's pressure on the LCD screen rather than relying on a needle or dial.
Press the gauge onto the tire valve stem until the hissing stops; the LED near the tip helps line up the valve in low light. Once fully connected, the backlit LCD will show the air pressure reading, which is accurate to within ±1% in whichever unit is selected: psi, bar, kg/cm2 or kPa.
Note: For the most accurate reading, always check tire pressure when the tires are cold – either before driving or after they’ve had time to cool.
This tire pressure gauge works with Schrader valves – the standard valve on nearly all motor vehicles – which consist of a metal core, a rubber or metal stem, and a protective cap.
No, this gauge is not meant for high-pressure tires such as those found on RVs. For those types, choose the 0 to 150 psi digital tire-pressure gauge.
