Gift wrapping is easy – just hold down the end of the wrapping paper with one hand while using your second hand to unroll it, then operate the scissors with your third hand to cut the right length from the roll. For those who lack a third hand, this simple device makes an effective substitute.
Slipped over the end of any wrapping paper roll up to 2 1/4" in diameter, it holds the roll steady as you pull out the length of paper you need and tuck the edge into a slot in the side of the cutter. As you slide the cutter to the other end of the roll, a shielded blade at the base of the slot neatly slices the paper in a straight line parallel to the roll.
