Activated by a built-in infrared motion sensor, this indoor/outdoor light instantly turns on when it detects movement up to 23' away and stays on until no movement is detected for 25 seconds. Made to withstand year-round exposure to the elements, it has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 66, so fine dust and even heavy wind-driven rain cannot infiltrate the durable plastic housing. It has two brightness settings (400 and 600 lumens) and runs on four D-cell batteries (not included), with an estimated battery life of 12 months based on five activations per day on the high setting.
The 5 1/2" diameter light rotates and tilts so you can aim the 120° wide-angle beam exactly where needed. To ensure long battery life, it uses energy-efficient SMD circuitry and an integral light sensor that prevents daylight activation. Comes with a mounting plate as well as fasteners and wall anchors for installation.
