Handcrafted in Peterborough, New Hampshire, by a company that has been making baskets since the 1850s, this tote is attractive and built to last. Using traditional construction methods and materials, it is woven from sturdy yet resilient 1/16" thick white ash splints to allow the tote some flexibility and to maintain a weight of just 1.5 lb.
The thick leather handles are comfortable and won't cut into your hand even if the contents are heavy. Brass tacks securely fasten the splints and handles to the ash rim, and a vinyl lining, the tote's only non-traditional component, helps to contain spills and easily wipes clean.
Measures about 18" long by 12" wide and 9" high. A durable, practical carryall designed for years of use.
