Description
Anyone who has difficulty with knots will appreciate this simple device. Shaped like the number nine, it allows you to quickly tighten rope and release it with equal ease. It can be used at rope end or mid-way to tension and secure a load, and has a spring clip for quick attachment to a D-ring or screw eye.
Cast from aluminum alloy, the carabiner is about 4 3/8" long by 2 3/8" wide and has a load rating of 150 lb (67.5kg). Accepts rope from 1/8" to 3/8" in diameter. Instructions are laser engraved on the surface for reference.
Available on its own or with a 25' hank of 1/4" multi-filament polypropylene rope (assorted colors), this little tool greatly simplifies rope attachments.
