Description
With this kit, you can create a miniature model of BB-8, the repair droid from the Star Wars film series. The model is constructed of finely micro-etched pieces that are laser-cut from two 11cm (4 3/8") square sheets of metal. To assemble, pop out the pieces by hand and use needle-nose pliers (or tweezers) to bend the tabs and fit the pieces together.
For ages 14 and up, this two-sheet model presents a greater challenge than the single-sheet models we offer, and requires additional build time due to its complexity. Although a certain level of manual skill and patience is required, the time and effort render a fascinating collectible.
