A useful accessory for your repurposed canning jars, these bands let you replace rust-prone metal collars with durable plastic versions that won't warp or corrode.

Compatible with standard disc lids, the reusable bands thread onto screw-neck canning jars to secure the lid to the jar. Their faceted design makes them easy to grip and turn, and while they are not intended for heat processing (canning), they are practical for storing foods or liquids, or for acidic ferments, which can cause metal collars to rust. Made of food-safe, BPA-free plastic. Dishwasher safe.

Sold in packages of four bands, they are available in two versions to fit regular or wide-mouth styles.
