While a full-length apron is a must for finishing, sanding or other messy tasks, for most other workshop activities, many woodworkers prefer a less restrictive waist apron.
This is a good one, made of durable, water-resistant 16 oz canvas. It has double-stitched seams reinforced by steel rivets at the pocket corners and other stress points.
With four large tool pockets, a narrow pencil pocket, a hammer loop and a measuring tape holder, it offers plenty of room to keep the tools and supplies you need secure yet accessible. The front panel measures 15 1/2" across the top, 18" wide at the bottom and 11" tall.
The 1 1/2" wide belt adjusts to fit waists from 30" to 54", and unlike many belts and aprons, in our tests, both men and women found it comfortable to wear. Simple, practical and built to last.
