Safety Chaps

These chain-saw chaps provide excellent protection from a running chain saw, but are lighter and easier to wear than chain-saw pants.

The 30" long by 14" wide protective pads have nine layers of RS2096 Tek-knit cloth (yarn fibers that jam up a chain and sprocket). The heavy-duty, waterproof Cordura shell has good resistance to water, gasoline, grease, and oil.

A 7" × 9" pocket is sewn on the front. The chaps are 39" long with an adjustable, quick-release belt and two quick-release buckles on each leg, leaving plenty of room for boots and clothing underneath.

Classified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) as meeting the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard #F-1414-99 in the USA and BNQ/CAN 1923-450-M91 standard followed by Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (ULC).
