For turners who have limited time for their craft, Baker offers an array of projects that can each be completed in a relatively short period. Intended for intermediate turners who already have a good grasp of basic turning skills, it provides an overview of tools and materials, and guidelines on safe and effective handling of machinery and equipment. The author gives step-by-step instructions for 25 projects that range in skill level from a basic honey dipper, workshop mallet and even a wizard’s wand to the more advanced goblet, natural-edge branch bowl and square-edge plate. Each project is illustrated with color photos and a diagram showing dimensions, and is supplemented by several alternative designs as well as helpful tips to spark ideas for your next project.
