Designed for beginner to intermediate skill levels, the book begins with an overview of wood selection and safety, and a list of tools and materials required for the projects. Types of scroll-saw blades and finishing choices are also covered.

Thirteen puzzle designs include various themes such as farm animals, emergency vehicles, hot-air balloons and holiday cookies. A dozen toy projects range from mini ornaments and a simple kazoo to a wheeled frog, ramp walkers, a castle play set and a race car.
