This slipcase set of three classic reference books is suitable for any woodworker.

The first book (206 pages) covers using both hand and power tools to prepare wood and make a range of joints, from simple tongue-and-groove to dovetails and multiple-spline miters.

The second book (210 pages) covers a variety of woodworking techniques: bending, laminating, scraping, carving, spindle turning, face-plate turning, using plywood and veneer, inlaying with a router, and finishing.

The third book (231 pages) gives step-by-step instructions for eight tables, four chairs, casework, and pieces for the workshop, office and kitchen.

Each 8 1/2" × 11" hardcover volume has hundreds of black-and-white photographs and diagrams.

Includes a 75 minute DVD demonstrating some of Frid's construction procedures, design inspirations, and a glimpse into the real life of a master craftsman.
