These are fully functional 1:3-scale versions of two of our joinery saws. Like their full-size counterparts, each has a high-carbon steel blade, a molded spine and a walnut grip.
The blade of the rip tenon saw is just shy of 5 1/2" long, with an effective cutting depth of just over 1 1/4" and a nominal kerf width of 0.014". The 27 tpi ripping teeth have a 14° rake using the typical 60° included angle. The saw is 7" long overall.
The crosscut carcass saw has a 30 tpi blade that is 3 5/8" long, and has an effective cutting depth of 3/4" and a nominal kerf width of only 0.014". The teeth have a rake angle of 15° and a 60° included angle. The saw is 5 1/2" long overall.
