About Veritas seconds: this stock of our carver’s drawknife (17U0630) has some minor cosmetic flaws – a scratch, a pit in the casting or tiny blemishes – but the tool is functionally perfect. Quantities of seconds are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
An ordinary drawknife is too large for most carving — ours is designed for ease of use with maximum control.
The teardrop-shaped handles are cocked at 45° to the blade and nestle comfortably in your hands. The polished 4" × 1/8" × 3/4" O1 steel blade is ground and honed to a perfect edge, and is supplied with a blade guard.
The drawknife blade is custom made for us to exacting standards. With walnut handles, it is an attractive tool.
