Fast-acting clamps are the workhorses of most woodworking shops. Easy to use, lightweight and quick to adjust, they handle a multitude of clamping needs. These clamps have a pair of clutch plates that release with a squeeze, allowing one jaw to slide freely.
Exerting a clamping force of up to 300 lb, they are available in three sizes (4", 6", 12"), each with a 2" throat depth. The high-carbon steel bar is 3/16" thick by 5/8" wide. Each has a comfortable contoured plastic handle and comes with removable plastic jaw liners to avoid marring your work.
The set includes four each of the 4" and 12" lengths, plus eight of the versatile 6" clamps, as they generally have the widest utility in most workshops. An excellent set to start or expand your clamp collection.
