These universal tool handles have a place in any workshop. They let you add a sure, comfortable grip to various unhandled tools, from rasps and files to reciprocating and jigsaw blades.
They use a simple trigger-operated clamping mechanism to accommodate round, square, flat or triangular tangs, exerting an impressive grip to hold the tool firmly in the spring-loaded steel jaws.
The 4 3/4" handle works best with jigsaw blades with a standard 1/4" wide shank, and small files and rasps with a tang up to 3mm thick. The 5 3/4" handle accepts larger tools, including all 8" files and rasps, as well as reciprocating saw blades and hacksaw blades up to 1/2" wide
