The open structure of the blade permits dust clearance and resists clogging, and the slender tip can be used in corners. The rear handle (offset for knuckle clearance) and front knob allow a comfortable two-handed grip for excellent control. Although it can aggressively remove material, the rasp leaves a surprisingly smooth surface. Replacement blades are available separately.
